To be a scientist
星期二, 11月 3rd, 2009“The Big Bang Theory” 不是指真正的科学理论，而是一部对白绝对是GRE单词、阅读加顶级听力水准，水平如我即便看着字幕（甚至中文字幕）都还不能完全领会的美国肥皂剧。
不过其实在我小时候对“科学家”和“博士”两个词语和这类人群的理解似乎就是那个样子，随时随地满口满脑的各种科学理论和解释，虽然罗嗦、琐碎还有些烦人，但是现在真能达到这种状态的“博士”怕是少之又少了。
第一季第五集里的女scientist还是pretty cool的，尤其这段当面对有过一夜情的Lenard进行的有关sex的论述还是相当出彩：
“Neither of us are neuroscientists, but we both understand the biochemistry of sex. Dopamine in our brains is released across synapses, causing pleasure. You stick an electrode in a rat’s brain, give him an orgasm button, he’ll push that thing until he starves to death. The only difference between us and the rat is that you can’t stick an electrod in our hypothalarums, that’s where you come in.”
